An established Alternative Provision in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated SEN / SEMH Teacher to join their supportive team and help transform the lives of young people who benefit from a personalised, holistic approach to learning.

We are looking for an inspiring teacher with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will:

• Deliver engaging, tailored learning to small groups or 1:1
• Support pupils presenting with behavioural, social, or emotional barriers
• Foster positive relationships, emotional regulation, and independence
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
• Contribute to personalised learning plans and progress reviews

• A warm, collaborative, and supportive staff team
• Small class sizes allowing genuine impact
• Tailored CPD in SEN, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support
• Opportunities for progression within a growing provision
• A values-driven environment that prioritises wellbeing for students and staff

• Are a qualified teacher
• Have experience with SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision settings
• Are patient, calm, resilient, and empathetic
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with young people
