The positionThe role of the Learning Mentor is to engage vulnerable or challenging pupils in their learning through provision of high-quality early intervention that positively impacts pupil welfare, attendance, progress and behaviour. The successful candidate will be attached to a specific year group, work with the inclusion officer to remove barriers to learning, enhance attendance and engagement, and support the Principal in achieving the best outcomes for our students.

Your responsibilities will include working well as part of a team, supporting pupils one-to-one, promoting effective and inclusive education for all pupils, establishing clear boundaries in relation to pupils' behaviour, demonstrating commitment to collaborative working, and maintaining effective communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, patient, and hardworking approach to work will be required.
