About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Ipswich from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will be passionate about English, able to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable), and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons

· Foster a love of literature, language, and writing among students

· Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

· Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

· Support the wider school through enrichment activities and pastoral care

About You
We are looking for someone who:

· Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

· Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

· Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills

· Is committed to inclusive education and high standards

· Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
