Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and efficient administrator to join our academy team as administrative support to both the SEND and Safeguarding teams. This role is a key position; your work will involve supporting both staff and students in ensuring information is accurate, up to date and accessible to those who need it.
The role involves working with confidential information and liaising with parents and outside agencies, so experience in these areas would be desirable.
You will be a reliable and hard-working team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, ideally with an understanding of working within education.
The post is offered working 37 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year (term time plus personal development days).

Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the SEND and Safeguarding teams.
- Ensure information is accurate, up to date and accessible to staff, students and external parties as appropriate.
- Handle confidential information and liaise with parents and outside agencies.
- Support staff and students to maintain safe and effective learning environments.
- Experience as an administrator, with ideally experience in education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate across multiple platforms.
- Reliability, flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
- Understanding of working within an educational setting is desirable.
- Full-time equivalent: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus personal development days).
