Job Overview
Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Ipswich starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist class providing close support to children with complex special educational needs.
Position Details- Location – Ipswich, Suffolk
- Position – Teaching Assistant
- Contract or position start date – ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking
- Contract type – Long–Term
- Full‑time/part‑time – Full‑time
- Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £95 per day
- Hours – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Previous SEN TA experience
- GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
- In‑house Training and Development Team
