Are you a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a passion for helping young learners thrive both academically and personally?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ipswich seeking a committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs and play a vital role in their educational journey.

• Support pupils across the primary age range, maximum students in class at anytime.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
• Provide support for children with additional needs.
• Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
• Assist in managing behaviour positively and promoting emotional wellbeing.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.

• Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with Primary age students.
• Has experience supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour
• Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
• Holds relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN support (desirable but not essential).
