Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in Ipswich where Science is taught as a combined subject at KS3 before students progress to separate Sciences and Combined Science pathways school offers Biology through to A-Level, with a strong uptake across the Sciences and a clear focus on maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Biology Teacher on a temporary basis from 1 November 2026, supporting the Head of Science with the delivery of Biology across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The successful Biology Teacher will be a dynamic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a proven track record of excellent teaching and experience delivering Biology at A-Level.

The successful Biology Teacher will have:

QTS with a Biology or Science specialism
Experience teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4
Experience teaching Biology at A-Level / KS5
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching
A dynamic, enthusiastic and engaging approach to learning
