£42,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Pension + Holidays + Training & Development
Monday - Friday Days Only
Ipswich, Suffolk
We’re recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Heavy Industrial environment in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is a stable, days-only position offering mechanical work across heavy plant, machinery, and site equipment.
The Maintenance Engineer Role- Mechanical maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant and machinery
- Fault-finding and breakdown response on mechanical systems
- Supporting installations, upgrades, and planned maintenance
- Participation in a rotating weekend call-out (additional pay)
- Occasional travel to nearby sites
- Maintenance engineering experience
- Level 3 Mechanical qualification or strong hands-on experience
- Background in Heavy Industrial plant maintenance, or similar
- Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
- Experience from agriculture, food, waste management, or manufacturing welcome
- Basic electrical knowledge
- £42,000 basic salary
- Overtime
- Company vehicle and telephone
- Holidays plus bank holidays
