As a Methods Lead, you'll be responsible for leading the development of safe, efficient and buildable construction solutions, supporting both pre-construction and delivery phases. • Leading and managing a team of Methods Engineers and Digital Engineers to support construction delivery
  • Championing "Safe by Design" and engineered safety principles across all methodologies
  • Working closely with design teams to understand constraints and develop practical, buildable solutions
  • Collaborating with planning, commercial, procurement, HSE and construction teams to ensure alignment across project delivery
  • Supporting the development of innovative construction techniques, including prefabrication and bespoke solutions
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the project to ensure methodologies meet technical, statutory and programme requirements
  • Capturing and implementing lessons learned and best practice from comparable major infrastructure projects
What We're Looking For?
  • Significant experience in methods engineering, construction engineering or temporary works within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and developing engineering or methods teams
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and buildability
  • Experience producing detailed method statements, sketches and construction methodologies
  • Knowledge of reinforced concrete construction, prefabrication techniques and associated temporary works
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements within construction
  • Experience working collaboratively with design teams, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency in CAD and experience using 3D modelling tools such as Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE) would be advantageous
  • Experience with in nuclear or other highly regulated environments would be beneficial, but not essential
