Job Summary

Job Details- Contract:
Annualised, required as soon as possible - Reference: 0554
- Salary: £30,518 – £32,061 per annum
- Hours:
37 hours per week - Location:
Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2DE
- Act as first point of contact for producers, promoters, and agents visiting the Regent Theatre and Corn Exchange.
- Lead and manage event visits, ensuring technical riders, specifications, and CAD drawings are interpreted and applied correctly.
- Plan and coordinate technical aspects of events, including sound, lighting, rigging, and staging.
- Schedule and manage the venue’s weekly roster, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Lead, motivate and coordinate technicians, casual staff and agency crew, ensuring clear communication and high standards.
- Maintain and uphold health and safety standards across all venues.
- Provide leadership in fast‑moving arts environment, working well under tight deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and customer experience.
- Good technical knowledge of sound, lighting, rigging and staging.
- Methodical and organised, able to manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in health and safety in entertainment or related sector.
- A-level standard or equivalent in a technical related profession desirable.
