Position: Paraplanner (Permanent)
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and growing financial services firm based in Ipswich, who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their professional and supportive team. As a Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and client-focused financial planning service. You will play a key role in preparing detailed suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring that all advice provided meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters

* Conducting detailed product, fund, platform, and provider research

* Producing cashflow models and financial planning illustrations

* Supporting advisers with complex case analysis and technical queries

* Preparing client review packs and annual review documentation

* Processing new business applications and ensuring accurate submission

* Liaising with product providers, platforms, and clients where required

* Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures

* Maintaining accurate records and updating CRM / back-office systems

* Assisting with audit preparation and file checks

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within financial services

* Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning

* Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) preferred

* Excellent written communication and report-writing skills

* High level of attention to detail and strong analytical ability

* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively

* Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach

* Proactive, reliable, and highly motivated
