Business and Finance Administrator – Suffolk County Council

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payments to the care market, ensuring high standards of financial governance and value for money. You will use Excel at an intermediate level and employ strong IT skills to manage data, record information accurately and support auditing processes. Working flexibly as part of a collaborative team, you will use your interpersonal skills to deliver a positive and professional customer service experience.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

  • Ensuring accurate and timely payment to care providers.
  • Accurately setting up and maintaining provider care contracts within the case management system.
  • Developing expertise in the use of case management systems.
Key requirements
  • Proven IT skills, including use of Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Experience working in an environment involving payments and auditing processes.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
