Financial Accountant and Treasury Specialist

Role Summary

As a Financial Accountant within Willis Re’s Financial Control team, you will support a wide scope of financial accounting activities across a number of regulated legal entities in multiple geographies.

• Support the financial close process through posting of journals, performing reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
• Review reinsurance contracts to assess revenue recognition for broking placements.
• Assist in the annual statutory accounts preparation process and support the audit process.
• Perform the daily fiduciary (client premium) cashiering processes, recording of receipts, scheduling payments, and completion of daily reconciliations.
• Manage liquidity balances across corporate bank accounts and assist in developing and running cash flow forecasting.
• Involve in ad‑hoc projects including geographical expansion, automation of cashiering activities, and adaptive planning.

• Qualified accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
