Senior Account Executive

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build on their existing finance experience while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments
• Supporting month‑end and period‑end procedures
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating variances
• Allocating customer receipts accurately
• Setting up payments through online banking systems
• Calculating settlement figures
• Assisting with audit requirements and compliance activities
• Supporting weekly and monthly reporting requirements
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team

• AAT qualified or currently studying towards completion
• Strong Excel skills, including Lookups and Sumifs
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
