Private Client Tax Manager

An established professional services firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to combine client management, technical advisory work, team leadership, and business development.

The Role You will manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services. Working closely with clients and colleagues, you will provide expert tax guidance, oversee complex tax returns, review work, and support the development of junior team members.

• Manage a portfolio of private clients with complex tax affairs.
• Review personal tax returns and associated compliance work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive advice.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members.
• Manage workflow, billing, and portfolio performance.
• Support networking and business development activities.
• Contribute to winning new work and growing the client base.

• Strong UK Private Client Tax experience.
• Experience managing client portfolios and reviewing tax returns.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Commercially aware with an interest in business development.

Qualifications ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or qualified by experience.
