Accountant, Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive accounting and financial management service across the Group, supporting business objectives and ensuring financial obligations are met within agreed budgets and financial constraints.

Key Duties

• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Work closely with budget holders to monitor expenditure, maintain financial control, and support effective budget management.
• Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller, Finance Director, and Senior Leadership Team to produce and deliver executive-level financial reports and insights.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the Group's trading companies, while supporting the Trainee Accountant with transactional finance activities as required.
• Attend monthly management account meetings with budget holders and the Financial Controller, providing financial analysis and addressing queries.
• Act as the key finance contact for internal and external auditors, preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation before, during, and after audits.
• Manage day-to-day treasury activities, ensuring effective cash management across the Group.
• Provide cover for the Group Financial Controller during periods of absence.
