Finance Manager

We are recruiting for a professional, capable and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a successful and growing business. This is a varied, hands-on position ideally suited to an AAT-qualified finance professional who enjoys combining day-to-day financial management with insightful analysis and reporting that helps drive business performance.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function while providing accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records of the business.
• Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, supplier payments and credit control activities.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant financial and tax reporting requirements.
• Support senior management with timely financial information and reporting.
• Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare clear financial reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
