Senior Wealth Planner - Wealth Management

Role Overview

As a Senior Wealth Planner, you will lead the development and maintenance of profitable client relationships, helping clients shape their financial future through thoughtful planning and investment advice.

• Collaborate with new and existing clients to understand long‑term goals and offer bespoke solutions that support financial and lifestyle needs.
• Build lasting relationships by listening with care, offering specialist guidance, and tailoring planning strategies to each client’s journey.
• Collaborate with the Wealth Acquisition team to welcome new clients and ensure a smooth transition from prospect to invested customer.
• Work across teams to deliver a consistent and seamless experience.
• Use digital tools to enhance client engagement and stay connected to market trends.
• Identify and manage risk, maintain high standards of compliance, and support clients with expert investment, risk‑management and wealth strategies.

• A financial planning qualification at RDR Level4 or above, including certification in advising on packaged products.
• Experience of fering personalised planning and investment advice with a solid understanding of financial markets, products, and regulations.
• Ability to use digital tools to support client conversations and communicate thoughtfully to build trust.
• Proven risk‑management approach while maintaining high compliance standards.
• Familiarity with pensions, investment advice, UK taxation and FCA‑approved status is desirable.
• Adaptability, curiosity, and strong business acumen in a fast‑changing environment.
• Experience working with internal teams and external networks to grow client relationships (highly valued).

The position is based in Ipswich, Cambridge, or Norwich.
