A respected firm in Ipswich is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join its growing tax team. You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio that includes high-net-worth individuals, landowners, family trusts, estates, and entrepreneurs. This is a role that values both your technical skills and your ability to build trusted client relationships.

You’ll be responsible for managing and reviewing complex tax returns across individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates, while also providing proactive advisory on areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains, IR35, property structuring, and succession planning. In addition to delivering high-quality client work, you’ll play a key role in supporting and developing junior team members, handling HMRC enquiries, and contributing to broader client strategies and business development initiatives.

The firm is looking for someone CTA qualified (or close to it) with strong experience in private client tax, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to manage relationships with both clients and  return, you’ll join a team-first environment that offers flexibility, hybrid working (typically two to three days in the office), and a well-defined path to progression. You’ll have space to develop your skills, build your profile, and make a visible impact — without the bureaucracy of a larger firm.
