You'll be a qualified Accountant with strong Financial Controls experience but most importantly be able to Partner with the Business while you establish their new Project Finance function.

As Project Accountant you will play and important role in their development and progress as a successful business and market leader by contributing to and leading the development of new initiatives.

You will deliver to the Project Management team the system tools and processes they can utilise to ensure accurate financial management and oversight of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.

As Project Accountant you will be responsible for establishing a combination of robust project finance processes across the Project portfolio and be the key Business Partner for all project undertakings across the Group.

Key Responsibilities as Project Manager will include:

Project Management financial control and reporting - including budgeting, forecasting, and capitalisation

Delivery of training, user guides and business acceptance of Project Financial processes

Establish the framework for determining the requirements, capturing the data and supporting the claim process for R&D tax credits in the UKWorking alongside Tax, optimise the tax efficiency of projects, globally

The design and business implementation of the Workday Project module To be successful as Project Accountant you will demonstrate:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with Project Accounting experience

Experience of system implementation, especially Project Management systems

Good experience of monthly reporting and performance analysis as well as budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
