Resolution & Tribunal Officer
£380 per day (umbrella) (£300 PAYE per day)
East of England (Local Authority)
Initial 3-month contract
Hybrid working (ideally 1 day per week in office, flexible/remote considered)
A local authority in the East of England is seeking an experienced Resolution & Tribunal Officer to support their SEND team on a contract basis.
You’ll play a key role in managing tribunal cases and supporting dispute resolution across education settings.
Key responsibilities:- Manage and oversee appeals to the First-tier Tribunal
- Coordinate and facilitate mediations to resolve disputes
- Represent the Local Authority at tribunal hearings
- Liaise with parents/carers, young people, legal teams, advocates, and education providers
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Strong experience within SEND tribunal processes
- Confident representing a local authority in hearings
- Skilled in case management and stakeholder engagement
- Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
