What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK

A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant
- Health and Wellbeing – you will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients
- Personal care – you will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care
- Meals and domestic tasks – you will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks
- Mobility – you will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible
- Social activities – you will encourage and support trips out, social engagements and activities in the client’s home
- Medication – you will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams
- Mentorship – as a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them
- Spot checks – you will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential:
- You will need a minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK, and experience in a similar care role is preferred. The role involves working multiple shifts, including weekends.
