Pay: £14.00 per hour

Earning potential:
Up to £32,000 per year

Full-time (includes sleep‑ins, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays)

Driving licence:
Full UK manual licence required

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. This is a hands‑on role supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living, both at home and in the community.

You will play a key role in supporting individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity while achieving their personal goals.

Please note:

This role involves providing personal care. Where appropriate, this may be considered a genuine occupational requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks (cooking, shopping, cleaning)
  • Assist with personal care where required (washing, bathing, toileting)
  • Administer medication in line with training and policies
  • Support access to community activities, appointments, and social opportunities
  • Encourage independence, choice, and skill development
  • Maintain accurate records and report incidents or concerns
  • Act as a key worker and contribute to support plan reviews
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend handovers and meetings
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to drive a mobility vehicle
  • Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • A proactive, caring, and reliable approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep‑ins and alternate weekends
