We are have an exciting opportunity to offer the role into a Community
Matron position to enhance the safety, experience and outcomes of people using our Perinatal Community Mental Health Team in Suffolk.
This is a unique opportunity for somebody with a drive to embed high quality care to our cohort of service users, based on best practice and national guidance. The role will involve providing leadership as well as clinical support to the team whilst contributing to the implementation of strategic plans.
We are looking for a person who is kind and compassionate to others, and is proactive in helping people reach their potential whilst maintaining high quality care.
This is an exciting time for change within NSFT, this opportunity will benefit someone looking expand their already established nursing practice, knowledge and clinical leadership to embed and maintain effective systems for quality assurance and high standards clinical care.
Main duties of the jobAs Matron, you will be expected to demonstrate the qualities and skills associated with a clinical leadership role and be accountable for services meeting essential standards of care as outlined by the CQC as well as agreed local and national quality standards encompassing the following domains:
- Quality
- Infection Prevention
- Physical Health
- Safeguarding
- Feedback, Complaints, service improvement
- Clinical Audit

Person Specification Qualifications- Diploma level/Degree in relevant health/social care profession, eg RMN, RLDN OT, Social Worker.
- Current relevant registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Masters Level Degree or equivalent
- Clinical Leadership and clinical care
- Significant experience of clinical performance management
- Performance Management

£57,528 to £64,750 a year gross per annum (pro rata)
