Job Overview
Train to become a Health Advisor in the NHS 111 contact centre in Ipswich, Suffolk. The role involves triaging calls, providing accurate assessments, and giving non‑clinical advice using the NHS Pathways System.
Responsibilities• Triage a variety of calls and provide accurate, compassionate advice.
• Use the NHS Pathways System to assess and direct callers.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism in all interactions.

- £12.65 per hour (7am‑11pm)
- £15.72 per hour (11pm‑7am)
- £16.27 per hour enhanced rate (Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am)
Weekend rate is a non‑contractual incentive; training pay is £12.65 per hour.
Working HoursPart‑time and full‑time shifts of 24, 30 or 37.5 hours per week. Some weekends and late‑night/overnight shifts are included. The role cannot be worked remotely; shifts are in the NHS 111 contact centre at Unit 7, Delta Terrace, West Road, Ransomes Euro Park, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9FH

Fully paid training for 4 weeks (full‑time) or 6 weeks (part‑time). The full‑time course starts on 7 September 2026. Training covers the NHS Pathways triage tool and includes assessments and call audits; passing is essential to continue. After training, an additional 8 weeks of support is provided to ensure you are signed off as a fully accredited Health Advisor.
