Your role- Lead a team of Care and Support Assistants
- Work closely with staff to provide personal care and support, helping customers build independence and confidence
- Handle medication safely and responsibly
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Promote safe practices, complete risk assessments and manage safeguarding to keep customers safe
- Create and update electronic care and support plans
- Experience supervising a team
- Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills
- Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role
- Enthusiastic and flexible approach
- Strong organisational skills and basic literacy and numeracy
- Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
- Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
