The Role

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours Per Week

Location:

Ipswich, 5 days a week

Duration of apprenticeship:
Fixed Term Contract - 21 months

Job Summary

About the Role

We’re looking for an Inclusive Recruitment Apprentice to join our team and help shape a recruitment process that champions diversity and inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in talent acquisition while making a real impact on how we attract and support candidates from all backgrounds.

As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Recruitment qualification. You will collaborate with internal teams, employability partners, and community organisations to strengthen relationships and create pathways for underrepresented talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Engagement:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with employability partners, charities, and community organisations to support inclusive hiring initiatives.
  • Event Participation:
    Represent the organisation at job fairs, networking events, and outreach activities to promote opportunities and engage diverse talent pools.
  • Data & Insights:
    Track recruitment data and analyse trends to make informed decisions that improve inclusivity and effectiveness.
  • Candidate Support:
    Assist with sourcing, screening, and supporting candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and equitable experience.
  • Marketing & Attraction:
    Help create inclusive job adverts and marketing campaigns that resonate with a wide range of candidates.
  • Administration:
    Maintain accurate records in recruitment systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance our inclusive recruitment strategy.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous office experience and strong IT skills, including excellent Excel proficiency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A genuine interest in diversity, inclusion, and creating opportunities for all.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Comfortable working with data and using insights to drive decisions.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
