Role Overview :

Step into a dynamic role as an IT Systems Administrator, where your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure. This position offers a chance to work with leading technology, ensuring the smooth operation of both hardware and software systems.  This is initially being recruited on a fixed term contract of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

– Implement and upgrade new technology systems, including software, servers, and cloud solutions.  – Conduct regular system checks, updates, and fixes to ensure optimal performance.  – Maintain robust security measures, including patch management and data protection.  – Monitor system performance, manage updates, oversee data backups, and ensure seamless IT service operations.  – Collaborate with the IT support team to address tickets and provide coverage during peak periods.  

– Design workflows for IT activities such as onboarding and incident handling.  – Document processes for consistency and reliability.  – Streamline tasks and introduce automation to enhance efficiency and minimise errors.

Qualifications and

Experience:

– Proficiency in Microsoft-based information systems, security, operating systems, networks, and cloud management.  

– Experience with both on-premises and cloud environments (AD, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint) is preferred.  – Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.  – Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
