IT Support Technician

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and technically minded IT Support Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a varied IT support environment, working with a broad range of technologies and directly supporting business customers.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to a growing customer base, dealing with faults and queries across servers, desktop computers, laptops, networking, internet connectivity, telephony, printers and associated peripherals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to customers via telephone, email, remote access and on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, servers, Microsoft 365, printers and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware, software and network equipment, including routers, switches and Wi-Fi.
• Assist with user accounts, permissions, backups, security and general systems administration.
• Support customer IT installations, upgrades and technical projects through to completion.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and escalate complex issues where required.
• Maintain accurate service desk records, documentation and customer updates.
