Commercial Account Handler

At this time, they are seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join the organisation in the Ipswich area on a hybrid working basis. This is a full-time permanent post, attracting a competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service delivery to commercial insurance customers. They will provide exceptional customer service to help retain valued clients whilst assisting Account Executives to win new clients in order to develop growth within the business. Typical duties include:

- · Building relationships with clients

· Preparing renewal terms and seeking alternative quotations

· Handling mid-term adjustments

· Ensuring client details are recorded and entered on the system accurately

· Preparing debit notes and summaries of cover

· Checking documentation for sending to clients

· Taking care of account queries and credit control matters

The ideal candidate would be someone who is process, task and deadline focused, and who is used to handling sensitive customer information. They will be someone who takes the initiative, anticipates clients’ needs and who are always focused on the best possible outcome for customers. Prior experience in handling commercial clients within a broking environment would be an advantage.

The salary will be £38K - £42K per annum and there is a competitive package, which includes 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), private medical insurance and pension.
