Hatchery Hygiene Operative

Overall aim of the Job:

To clean and disinfect vehicles, trailers and hatchery equipment.

• Pressure washing interior of trailers including fans, removing the floor and roof covers and cleaning all filters.
• Emptying day old chick crates from lorries.
• Pressure washing exterior of trailer and unit.
• All cleaning to involve use of chemicals to ensure biosecurity is maintained.
• Up to 4 units and trailers to be emptied and cleaned per day.
• Moving units and trailers on and off the loading bays and around the yard.

• Shunter license (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
• Previous experience preferred but training can be given to suitable applicant
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team

Job Type: Permanent – Night shift

Working Times:
Exact working hours still to be confirmed. Working hours will be approximately 6:00pm – 2:30am, 5 days a week.

Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour

Own transport is essential due to the remote location, based approximately 5 miles from Ipswich.
