Housekeeper – Brantham Ward

Brantham Ward is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated housekeeper to provide support across all areas of EAU.

You will be an integral part of the team ensuring a high quality service to patients. Excellent communication skills are vital as the role includes liaising with Estates and Facilities, EME and working closely with nursing and Sodexo staff.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness of clinical equipment and the areas where the equipment is stored, as well as areas outside of the Sodexo contract.
• Coordinate all patient facilities in the ward area to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Support the ward area by ensuring equipment is well maintained and stock levels are closely monitored.
• Ensure cleanliness of clinical equipment when not in patient use.
• Report any failure, repair or maintenance needed for any equipment and arrange for maintenance to be undertaken.
• Restock equipment as required.
• Establish a pleasant and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward, highlighting concerns to the ward sister if necessary.
