Maintenance Operative

Maintenance OPERATIVE - LEICESTER - 3 months CONTRACT

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Management Operative to support the day-to-day running of an occupied site in Leicester.

Duties include:

Managing post and providing inductions for visitors and contractors.
Carrying out site inspections and reporting any issues.
Liaising with contractors and the facilities team to ensure reactive jobs are completed.
Basic cleaning of kitchen and toilet areas.
Minor repairs to doors, furniture and fittings.
Basic electrical and plumbing tasks within your competence.
Simple HVAC adjustments and assisting with fire alarm tests.
Providing a professional and friendly service to site users.

Requirements:

Previous facilities or maintenance experience.
Practical, hands-on approach and good customer service skills.
Professional appearance and good communication.
Able to work safely within your level of competence.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (40 hours per week).
Pay:

£18.78 per hour - umbrella paye (£14.43 per hour - paye)
Important:
Must be paid via Umbrella PAYE. No CIS or Ltd company payments.
