Suffolk County Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Adult Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This role shapes and strengthens multi‑agency collaboration, ensuring adults at risk receive timely, effective, and person‑centred support.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the Adult MASH, ensuring high‑quality triage and decision‑making on safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with partner agencies including health, police, housing, and voluntary sector organisations to promote integrated safeguarding responses.
- Provide oversight, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of the MASH function.
- Support staff development and maintain a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence.
- Significant experience in adult safeguarding, ideally within a multi‑agency or statutory setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and partnership‑building skills.
- In‑depth understanding of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation and guidance.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, decision‑critical environment.
- Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment for adults at risk.
