Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop a deep knowledge of OCS Group UK, building horizontal and vertical relationships with business leaders to facilitate successful bidding
- To fully programme bid activity on behalf of business development teams, including deal planning sessions, bid development, final bid document submission, bid award and (if appropriate) handover to mobilisation
- Manage and be responsible for a small team within the private sector function
- Develop responsibility for colleagues within the division; responsibility will include bid management and document creation
- Research potential clients and develop an understanding of their requirements
- Provide support and leadership to direct reports, so they are compliant with bid process, governance and escalated issues, to continuously improve their work
- Provide constructive feedback and development opportunities to support the continuous improvement of direct reports
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- Be educated to a degree/HND or equivalent
- Be experienced in a bid/proposal management environment with clear experience in leading winning bids
- Impeccable time management, allowing prioritisation of a complex and varied workload
- Strong leadership skills in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
- Experience in leading, influencing and developing cross‑functional teams in a bid environment
