We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Highways team based in Suffolk.
Location: Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Kier is looking for a Roadworks/Highways Project Manager to join a highly successful team in the delivery of a Highways project, valued at circa £120m.
The successful candidate will come from a strong highways background with previous earthworks experience and be able to adapt between multiple disciplines. You'll support the senior leadership team, drive programme management, oversee large sub‑contract management, phasing, forecasting, and manage a high performing team.
Responsibilities- Manage the delivery of project work packages by budgeting and programming, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and welfare are maintained.
- Manage all phases of the project from contract award to close out, liaising with clients, their advisors and operational delivery teams to meet all contractual requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors during the contract period, ensuring work is carried out to the correct specification and quality standards.
- Build strong working relationships with the client’s management team and project delivery team, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Identify and manage project risks through effective mitigation measures, delivering projects safely, on time and to budget whilst achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Have a strong highways background with previous earthworks experience and can adapt between multiple disciplines.
- Hold a Civil Engineering degree or similar qualification, along with a CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- Have proven experience in managing projects, budgets and high performing teams to deliver results on time and within budget.
- Excel at building collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members, with excellent communication skills.
