The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ecological project managerto play a key role in growing ourEast Anglia Ecology Team.

You will combine
project management expertise and business development
to secure and deliver complex ecology projects from tender through to report delivery.

You will work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high quality projects ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality environmental outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing Technical Delivery
  • Lead and deliver large, complex ecological projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Agree timescales, costs and resources and develop detailed plans for project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regularly reporting on project progress.
  • Proactively identify, and mitigate delivery and commercial risks.
Business Development
  • Win new work through bids, tenders and client engagement
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in environmental consultancy
  • Strong background in project management
  • Track record of winning work and building client relationships
Skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage people, budgets and multiple projects
  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
