Packhouse Line Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Packhouse Line Leader to join a leading fresh produce business based in East Anglia. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the company’s fast‑paced packing operation, ensuring product quality, team performance, and operational efficiency.

As a Packhouse Line Leader, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day line operations, leading a team to deliver high‑quality packed products that meet customer and technical standards. You’ll be responsible for maintaining smooth production flow, minimising downtime, and supporting the achievement of daily performance targets.

• Leading and motivating a team to meet performance and output targets
• Operating and overseeing packing machinery, including Top Seal and Flow Wrap equipment
• Ensuring operational efficiency and minimising downtime
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and production records
  
  Upholding strict quality standards and ensuring all checks are completed correctly
• Working collaboratively across teams to support continuous improvement and consistent product quality

• Is fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Has previous experience in a fresh produce packing environment
• Has a solid understanding of packing machinery and line operations
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, efficiency, and quality focus
• Possesses excellent communication and leadership skills
