Overview

Quest is recruiting on behalf of a professional nursery in the Isle of Man for an experienced Estate Garden Supervisor to support the production of temperate plants. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience working in a professional nursery environment and confidence managing day-to-day plant production tasks to a high standard.

• Following seed sowing protocols
• Pricking out seedlings
• Potting up and potting on
• Watering and feeding crops
• Maintaining healthy, high-quality plant production
• Supporting general nursery operations as required
• Fully on-site team support for routine duties with the role requiring independence and professional nursery experience

• Previous experience in a professional nursery environment
• Good plant husbandry and propagation skills
• Reliable, practical, and organised approach
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team

• £40,000–£45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
• 40-hour working week
• Potential assistance with temporary accommodation
• Immediate start available, subject to Isle of Man work permits
