Plant Operator – Monday to Friday

Hours: 6:30am – 4:30pm

Guaranteed: 10 hours per day

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour for the first 8 hours daily, with enhanced overtime paid at time and a half for the final 2 hours each day.

Our client are the UK market leader for the processing and sale of IBAA (Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate), offering the Construction and Civil Engineering sector a sustainable alternative to natural aggregates.

IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) is the by-product from Energy from Waste facilities, which generate electricity from the combustion of municipal solid waste (household waste) and provide a sustainable alternative to landfill.

We are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for consistent hours and long-term work.

• Operating plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Monitoring equipment and ensuring smooth production processes
• Carrying out basic maintenance and safety checks
• Loading and unloading materials when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures

• Previous experience operating plant machinery preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to assist in other areas when needed

• Guaranteed 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday
