Job Title:
Production Operative (Temporary)

Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 9:00am till 17:00pm. But candidates must be flexible as hours may vary depending on project requirements.

Overview:

Our Client is seeking practical, hands on Production Operatives to join their collaborative production team. The role involves assembling, packaging, and quality checking products across a variety of workstations. The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable, and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers the opportunity to work with new and emerging products, where no two days are the same.

Warehouse duties may also be required to support the wider operation when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and produce products in line with quality and production standards.
  • Transform designs into finished physical products.
  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications before dispatch.
  • Package finished products into boxes and move boxed products onto pallets.
  • Support warehouse operations when required.
  • Monitor production processes and ensure machines are running smoothly at all times. Report any equipment faults, production issues, or quality concerns to management promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Good practical skills and confidence working with your hands.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a production, assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
