Full Time/Part Time – Hours

Priory Hospital Lincolnshire has an opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our team. Located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a low secure unit for males with mental health conditions. It offers support to those who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to each service user’s individual needs and care plan.
  • Complete clinical assessments, risk assessments and care planning, monitoring changes in presentation and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Administer and monitor medication safely, including identifying and reporting any side effects or changes in physical/mental health.
  • Work closely with the MDT, service users and families/carers to support recovery and achieve positive outcomes.
Essential for the role
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Strong communication, organisational and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering safe, person-centred care.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and medication administration.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience working within a mental health or inpatient setting.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Experience completing care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
  • Knowledge of recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches.
