Job summary
Suffolk GP Federation are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care whilst leading and supporting our dedicated primary care nursing team.
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday based across the Unity sites:
Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.
We're looking for someone with a passion for healthcare, strong general practice experience, and the ability to inspire and guide the team to excellence.

Main duties of the job- You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to-day basis
- You will foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team
- You will lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authoritys requirements
- You will champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service

Qualifications Essential- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
- Youll need proven experience of working in primary care
- You will need experience in managing a team
