Job overviewAre you an ambitious, values-driven nursing leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care closer to home?
We are seeking a Matron for the Community Clinical Delivery Group (CDG) to lead and inspire our nursing workforce across East Suffolk. This is a unique opportunity to help in shaping the future of community healthcare at a time of significant transformation.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the future of community services through strong clinical leadership, workforce development, quality improvement and partnership working, ensuring safe, effective and integrated care is delivered closer to home.
Main duties of the jobAs Matron, you will provide visible professional leadership for the nursing workforce across community services in East Suffolk. You will work in partnership with clinical, operational and system leaders to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a diverse community nursing workforce.
- Providing professional nursing leadership across Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and community services.
- Driving quality, safety, patient experience and continuous improvement.
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, retention and succession planning.
- Delivering professional standards, governance and assurance.
- Developing future nursing leaders and creating a positive culture where staff can thrive.
- Contributing to the strategic development of community services as we continue to expand care closer to home and strengthen neighbourhood-based models of care.
