Key Responsibilities Undertake a variety of quality assurance activity to understand the practice and the services being delivered to our children and families. This will be underpinned by our practice approach, which includes relational and restorative practice principles. Support embedding practice standards and expectations. Offer high support and high challenge to enable consistently good outcomes for our children and families. Ensure quality case file audit recommendations/actions have been completed through tracking and dip sampling, Ensure learning has taken place and been embedded from audit cycles via dip sampling.
Undertake specific audits and reviews as required. Collect and collate feedback from our children and families to support understanding the quality of practice. Contribute and work with managers across the service as part of the quality assurance framework to ensure that audits are influencing practice. Provide coaching to practitioners/audit pool to enable a shared understanding of audit purpose and support quality.
Contribute to preparation of inspections across all practice areas. Contribute to workforce wide development when required. About You 3 years plus Qualified Social Worker, ideally with supervisory experience. Ability to understand and apply ILACS framework and evaluation criteria. Ability to apply relational and restorative approaches to practice.
Experience of supporting the learning and development of others.
Experience of working with professional staff to support them to deliver high quality work. Qualifications and Experience Post qualification experience of statutory social work, including experience of working with professional staff to support them to deliver high quality work. Recognised Social Work Qualification. Registration with Social Work England. Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are required as well as excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
