Quality Engineer

We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Suffolk team based in Suffolk.

Location: Suffolk

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

• Monitoring onsite works quality through inspections and physical checks to ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety standards, drawings and specifications,
• Collaborating with construction team members, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure quality control standards are met,
• Identifying deficiencies and non-conformances, recommending corrective actions and monitoring remedial works,
• Liaising with the Client's Project Supervisor for quality control matters and organising inspections,
• Maintaining quality documentation, records, logs and registers, ensuring they are appropriately collated and easily traceable.

• You hold an HND/Degree or equivalent in Construction or a related subject,
• You have demonstrated knowledge and practical application of quality control activities,
• You can interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications and report on findings clearly,
• You hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and Full driving licence,
• You have strong communication and IT skills with the ability to keep clear and accurate records.
