Network Test Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading global technology consultancy, is looking for an experienced Network Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise across Network Testing, Robot Framework, Python and Git Lab CI/CD.

You will be responsible for validating networking products and services, building automated test solutions and integrating testing into CI/CD environments.

• Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases for networking applications and platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python
  .
• Validate network protocols, configurations and end-to-end connectivity.
• Integrate automated test suites into Git Lab CI/CD pipelines
  .
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration and performance testing.
• Analyse test results and troubleshoot failures.
• Work closely with Development, Dev Ops and Infrastructure teams.
• Support automated testing across release and deployment cycles.
• Produce test reports, defect analysis and quality metrics.
• Contribute to test framework improvements and automation best practices.

• Strong commercial experience in Network Testing
  .
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• TCP/IP
• UDP
• DNS
• DHCP
• VLAN
• VPN
• Routing & Switching
• Experience with BGP and/or OSPF would be advantageous.
• Strong experience with Robot Framework
  .
• Programming and scripting experience using Python
  .
• Experience with Selenium would be beneficial.
• Experience with Git Lab CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
  .
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
