Fairview’s hotels are designed to provide memorable stays. Many of the properties feature on-site dining, meeting facilities, and recreational spaces, making them ideal for short breaks or extended visits.

We are seeking a Multi skilled Kitchen and F&B team member to join our dynamic team in Ipswich, United Kingdom. This versatile role offers an exciting opportunity to work across both kitchen and front-of-house operations, providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Serve customers in the dining area, taking orders and delivering food and beverages
  • Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, handling cash and card transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both kitchen and dining areas
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Adapt to various roles within the kitchen and dining area as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in food service operations
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in kitchen and/or food service roles (preferred)
  • Proficiency in food preparation and basic cooking techniques
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Flexibility to work in various roles and adapt to changing priorities
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
