Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; you may work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) if desired.
We schedule your contracted hours within these availability windows with 3 weeks' notice of shifts. We support flexibility; if your availability closely matches our advertised times, we will consider your application.

Responsibilities- Help serve shoppers better every day.
- Meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
- Provide high-quality customer service.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store to meet needs at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about your store's performance, understanding your role and collaborating to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
- Deliver great service, greet customers with a smile and pride.
- Build rapport with customers so they leave a great shopping trip.
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for customers.
- Work well within a team and communicate openly.
- Build relationships with colleagues, creating team spirit, having fun and celebrating success.
- Be on time, well presented and ready to be a brand ambassador.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.

- Must be over 18 to apply.
- We will accept candidates only over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15‑am or after 9:45‑pm or involves work in the warehouse, beer, wine, spirits, counters, bakery or driving roles.
