Overview

Sales/Account Manager – UV Disinfection (UK & Ireland) for a UK-based manufacturer and solutions provider in Water/Air/Surface Disinfection. The company designs and supplies innovative technologies to ensure safe, clean, and sustainable water systems across industrial, commercial, and public sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that values technical excellence, customer success, and long-term relationships. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their early career in the water sector and to be mentored by a recognisable leader in the field. As the go-to sales person for the UK and Ireland, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence and driving growth.

You will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to deliver tailored water treatment and disinfection solutions, while representing a trusted brand known for quality and performance. This is a customer-facing position, with an expectation to spend at least 50% of your time meeting clients on-site, offering strong networking and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities within the water and wastewater sectors
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and partners
  • Deliver tailored proposals and technical presentations with confidence
  • Negotiate and close sales transactions to meet and exceed targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and aftersales support
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, forecasts, and pipeline development
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven sales experience within the water, wastewater, or related engineering industries
  • Strong track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to understand and explain technical products and systems (product training provided)
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently
  • Full UK driving licence required
